The Desert Dwellers
The Desert Dwellers have their roots in the deserts of the southwest, with innumerable tribal dance rituals across New Mexico, the Mojave, and the Black Rock Desert.A longtime collaboration between Amani Friend & Treavor Moontribe, which began as the Amani vs. Teapot sessions in the ’90s, later paved the way to the formation of Desert Dwellers, a ‘virtual band’ that also includes Rara Avis. The talents of these three sound alchemists have combined across cyberspace, resulting in dance tracks and downtempo grooves that make for truly memorable experiences.
